HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. That's it.

  1. 01

    Tell us how you play

A short placement questionnaire: your instrument, your level, the time you have each day.

  2. 02

Get a plan for every day

Exercises sized to your minutes, in an order that makes sense, adjusted as you improve.

  3. 03

    Watch yourself improve

Tempo gains, streaks, weekly charts and You vs You: progress measured against yourself.

FEATURES

Everything your practice needs.

Dashboard

Progress you can see

Streaks, weekly charts, and You vs You against your own best week. The only person you compete with is you.

Training

A routine that fits your day

Your exercises in one list, each with its target tempo and minutes. See what's done today and how many BPM you've gained, task by task.

Challenges

Tempo challenges

Take a passage from 60 to 90 BPM in three weeks. Clean takes move you up a step; a few misses in a row and it suggests a step back.

Practising a challenge

A metronome that climbs with you

In a challenge or a Live Session, the tempo rises as you play clean, with a count-in, and sheet music and tab that move with the beat.

Repertoire

Your repertoire, never rusty

Songs with sections, keys and chords. Review reminders before a song slips, and setlists for your next gig.

Notation

Real notation, not pictures

Engraved score and tablature, right in the browser. Import Guitar Pro files, or build a tab on a guitar neck.

FOR EVERY MUSICIAN

Solo, in a band, on stage.

Whatever you play and wherever you play it: build setlists with dates and keys, practise the actual songs, and turn up to the gig, the rehearsal or the service ready.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Refine runs in your browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Sign in with Google and your practice syncs across them.

Which instruments does Refine support?

Electric and acoustic guitar, bass (4 or 5 strings), drums and keyboard.

Is there a free trial?

Yes: 14 days with everything included. No card needed to start.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel whenever you like and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

What if I change my mind after paying?

Within 7 days of a payment (14 days in the EU), ask us and we'll refund it in full. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal.

Does it work offline?

You need a connection to open Refine and to sync. Your practice is saved on your device as you go, so a dropped connection mid-session doesn't lose anything.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your practice data is used only to run Refine for you. We don't sell it and there are no ads.

How do I get in touch?
